I’ve been taking drives with my mom and we have been going to different areas close to our home town. I drive so she can “bird”. I take my camera so I can not “kill two birds with one stone” but “kill two objectives with one stone”. Today we drove east to find some spring migration birds.
I didn’t get any shots of birds. I didn’t bring my telephoto lens or my tripod. But I did get some shots of things that interest me. Old buildings and structures and landscapes.
This is an old schoolhouse. Doesn’t look like it to me but mom has the history of this area and she says it is. So it is.
We had lunch at the Captain Clark Access and I got a picture of a gravel bar and birds. I don’t really know a lot of birds and I can’t remember. Maybe ducks?
Our lunch was great, we have a beautiful view for our dining pleasure. On our way back to town we took the back roads. I love back roads and mom especially likes them because we can travel slower and stop when something catches her eye.
