My mom’s Elna
My mother gifted me her Elna SU a couple of years ago. I love my mom’s Elna. It’s powerful and quiet. Must be the metal gears. Mom hasn’t found the cams or the presser feet for it yet so I bought a quarter in foot with guide for it. I do not like the guide. I can’t sew anything unless it’s a straight seam. So I’m ordering another quarter inch foot without a guide for it.
I don’t have a case for accessories for her until I go to Montana this summer and get the accessories for this machine from my mom. By the way, I’ve named her Lucille. So I made a zippered pouch for her. It’ll do. I am going to make another one with boxy corners. This pouch is lined.
I got the pattern from Craftsy.com. Have you tried the classes on Craftsy. They offer free mini classes to give you a taste. Try one. They have classes in sewing, quilting, photography, baking, etc. Their instructors are great.
