June was a very busy month. I had family in from out of town and country. A graduation, a baby shower, a family bbq, along with all the daily stuff. Quilting and Longarm quilting.
I finished and gave my oldest granddaughter her graduation quilt. It wasn’t completed in time for the graduation party but was in time to give the almost mom a gift for herself at the baby shower.
the oldest granddaughter is on the left, 2nd oldest on the right. She gave me her ideas and design expertise for the quilt. She’s an up and coming quilter. And last but not least is my youngest granddaughter admiring the quilt. These gals are wonderful people and mine. I’m so proud of them.
This quilt was made as part of my Guild’s Block Exchange. I presented what I wanted done and each month for about three, I had new partial blocks to use in this quilt. Even better it was really scrappy because of my Guild’s individual fabric stash. This is what I presented, two squares, making half square triangles out of them.
I received many of these all scrappy. I then cut them all up. Get Bonnies free pattern for the restof the instructions.
